March 25, 2007  Our parishes have completed Step 6 of developing an Area Faith community.  The plan has been submitted to the diocese for approval. The next step will be selection of ministry representative who will begin to meet with representative from St. Gertrude's. The following pages will help to keep you informed on the process as it proceeds.  you are encouraged to read the background information on area faith communities that was prepared by the Diocese of New Ulm.  Click on any of the links in Background Information for a direct link to the information.

Step 3 of the Area Faith Community planning process was held an open parish meeting is scheduled on Oct. 15.  Mr. Mark Kemmeter from the Diocese of New Ulm was the presenter.  A structure has been provided for parishes to use as they move through the process. Following Mark's presentation groups were formed to develop some ideas for the next step.
