CATHOLIC EDUCATION CENTER -- BUILDING & GROUNDS
Guidelines for use by
parishioners and the general public. (A “parishioner” is defined as:
a registered member of St. John’s Parish)
1. ALL events
involving more than 50 people must provide a Certificate of
Insurance naming the parish as an “Additional Insured” (events
with less than 50 people do not require insurance). This document is
to be submitted to the parish office at least 3 weeks before the
event. Many home owner’s insurance companies will issue a
“rider”. If a group or individual does not have an insurance policy
to cover the event, Special Events Coverage may be purchased through
the Diocese of New Ulm for $100.00.
deposits will be collected in advance. This will be returned within
two weeks after the event if no damage has occurred. Using parties
are responsible for the clean-up of all the premises (inside &

will not be permitted anywhere in the building.

is expected that the wine will be served with food. If wine is
served,user must provide proof of Insurance coverage regardless of
the number of people attending the event.

7. Please pick
up and return the key @ the parish office during office hours, Tues.
& Wed. from 9:OOam.-4:OOpm. or Thurs. from 8:30am.- 4:00pm.

are needed to set up tables so as to eliminate the possibility of
any marking on the carpeting due to dragging tables across it.
Please put tables & chairs that are used back exactly as they were.

10. Children age
12 & under are to be supervised.

additional janitorial work. The building is to be left in a neat and
orderly condition. The cost of unusual cleanup will be deducted from
the damage deposit.
